"European patent application" is European patent application filed under European Patent Convention (hereinafter: Convention), as well as international application filed on the basis of Agreement on cooperation in the area of patents (hereinafter: Agreement), for which European Patent Office undertakes appropriate actions as designated or selected Office, and in which Montenegro is designated;

"Extended European patent" is European patent granted by European Patent Office on the basis of European patent application for which the extension is requested to Montenegro;
